Already a member of the General Council of Federturismo Confindustria Italy, where he represents the meetings industry, he now takes on another position as Vice President
Gianluca Scavo, CEO of AIM Group International, a company specialised in congresses, events and communication with over 60 years’ experience, has been appointed Vice President of Federturismo Confindustria Italy, the National Travel & Tourism Industry Federation, for the period 2020-2024.
At the General Assembly, the newly elected President, Marina Lalla (director of the Terme di Margherita di Savoia and currently deputy vice president of the Bari-Bat delegation of Confindustria and vice president of Federterme), appointed as Vice Presidents: Maria Carmela Colaiacovo (Vice President of the Italian Confindustria Hotel Association); Stefano Fiori (Director of the Univers Srl Group); Valeria Ghezzi (President of Anef); Renzo Iorio (CEO of Nugo S.p.A. Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group) and Gianluca Scavo (CEO of AIM Group International).
Scavo is also a member of the General Council of the Federturismo Confindustria, for the period 2019-2023 (a position he held from 2016 to 2019), where he represents the Assolombarda members and the operators of the meeting industry.
