AIOP Virtual Congress enjoys a longer lifespan

The digital congress of the Academy of Prosthetic Dentistry, held online some days ago, is launching two more webinars with multiple sessions.

The first full digital congress realised for the Italian Academy of Prosthetic Dentistry (AIOP) from 30th April to 2nd May it is not arrived to the end. Actually, two more multiple sessions are in program on the same platform on 8th and 15th May, accessible to the same participants that have already registered to the congress.

“When transforming the expected live congress into a full digital virtual experience, we considered that you cannot ask participants to stay  in front of a PC remotely for a long time, this is why the content was split into numerous sessions, to be proposed not only during the main congress days but also in two different appointments. More than 1.800 participants can easily access with the same codes to continue their education” explains Lavinia Ricci, business manager Congress Dept. AIM Group International.

Moreover, the “AIOP On Air” platform offer delegates the possibility to extend the life of the online event content with  all the recorded sessions available on demand for one year, as well as the sponsors area access with contents, video and presentations.

“Virtual events represent a game changer in terms of planning a conference, thanks to the digital platform attendees can follow personalised journeys and profit of  the virtual event with  a personalised adaptive experience” adds Lavinia.

As this example demonstrates, the online format gives important benefits:

  • associations could reach new audiences, including those who wouldn’t have been available to travel and attend the live event;
  • attendees can follow all the content, rather than being restricted to choose one of the parallel sessions;
  • you can extend the event duration and once the event is over you can continue to leverage the content making it full available on demand.
