AIM Events Office (AIM Italy) has organized several DMC events, offering international groups from diverse business sectors unique opportunities to discover Italy’s destinations. From a tour of vineyards and Tuscany hills onboard a vintage Vespa, to the Rome of Dolce Vita and a surprise performance in the heart of Milan, activities were tailored to each corporate group, depending upon their interests, demographics, the time available and the event objectives. Each DMC event was personalized to provide added value and to make each group’ stay in Italy truly memorable. Here some examples:
Incredible Tuscany

 

  • A group of 50 salespeople from a French packaging company, staying in Florence for a convention, had the chance to explore historic vineyards in the hills surrounding the city, on board vintage Vespas and cars. They then had a guided tour through the medieval village of San Gimignano and of the city centre of Florence.
Surprising Milan

300 international guests of the lens manufacturer enjoyed a special dinner in Milan, following a congress day. At the Terrazza Duomo, in the very heart of the city, they sipped a typical Italian aperitivo on a terrace overlooking the Duomo, whilst being entertained by a dance performance and other activities.

Truly Italian experiences
  • In collaboration with AIM Prague, which has been working with the client for several years, AIM’s Italian office organised the Sales Convention for a Czech group of an international bank company. The event for 220 guests was held in Bardolino, the wine-growing region of Veneto and included a gala dinner at a prestigious winery (Cantina Monteci) and a tour to the famous aristocratic Venetian Villas.
  • 350 guests of the IT company, came to Italy from India to enjoy city tours in Rome aboard vintage Vespas and cars, a guided tour of the Vatican Museums with lunch on the beautiful Caffarelli Terrace. The venue chosen for the gala dinner (Spazio Novecento), also offered a ‘Godfather’ themed background for a photo shoot set
