AIM Group Successfully Delivers ECNDT 2026, Bringing Europe’s Leading Non-Destructive Testing Congress Back To Italy
From scientific excellence to immersive delegate experiences, ECNDT 2026 set a new benchmark for international association congresses.
AIM Group has successfully delivered ECNDT 2026 – the European Conference on Non-Destructive Testing, one of the most important international events dedicated to inspection technologies, quality control and industrial innovation.
Held in Verona from 15 to 19 June, the congress marked the return of the event to Italy after more than four decades. AIM Italy was selected by the Italian Association to organise the 2026 edition following the previous congress held in Lisbon in 2023.
ECNDT 2026 recorded exceptional growth across all key indicators, welcoming more than 3,200 participants, compared with 1,396 delegates at the previous edition. The exhibition expanded to over 16,000 square metres, hosting 330 exhibiting companies, while the scientific programme featured more than 800 abstracts, confirming the congress as one of the leading international platforms for knowledge exchange in the field of Non-Destructive Testing.
The event was designed to maximise interaction between scientific content and industry innovation. Alongside the extensive exhibition, delegates could attend presentations across multiple conference rooms, participate in the Technology Center organised by the network of Associations, and explore the Talk Arena, where companies showcased their latest technologies and solutions.
To enhance the delegate experience, AIM implemented innovative open-session layouts supported by silent headset technology, allowing participants to follow presentations while remaining connected with the exhibition environment and networking opportunities.
AIM Communication developed the congress visual identity, sponsorship materials and onsite branding, while also supporting the client’s digital communication activities, including the enhancement of its LinkedIn presence to strengthen engagement within the international community.
The congress concluded with an exclusive social programme celebrating both the scientific community and the host destination. Delegates enjoyed a Gala Cocktail at Palazzo della Gran Guardia followed by privileged access to the general rehearsal of Aida at the Arena di Verona, offering an unforgettable cultural experience.
The successful delivery of ECNDT 2026 reflects AIM Group’s expertise in managing large-scale international scientific congresses, combining strategic event design, stakeholder engagement, exhibition management and operational excellence to create impactful experiences for global professional communities.
