Full-service for training progammes at il Sole 24 Ore

CLIENT CHALLENGE

The 24 ORE Group is a multimedia publishing organisation specialising in business and finance - its Il Sole 24 ORE flagship has the highest circulation of any business daily in Europe.  The group has also developed a significant presence in arts publishing and in the organization of exhibitions and other cultural events. It currently employs over 2,000 people – including nearly 500 journalists – who produce over 140 publications.

 

The Group offers external clients a series of events that take place throughout the year:

  • Annual conferences
  • Part-time business and specialisation courses
  • Training courses and meetings
  • E-learning
  • In-house courses for clients.

OUR SOLUTION

AIM was first asked to organise meetings and courses for the 24 Group back in 2002.  This worked out well, and the relationship grew in 2009 when AIM took charge of the Secretariat, running training and also the bookshop and ticketing for cultural events organised by 24 ORE Cultura.  The following year our brief expanded even further: AIM was given a customer service role, and was entrusted with administering Il Sole 24 Ore Training’s toll-free enquiry and registration number.

 

As full service providers, we have created a dedicated team – called Unit 24 – to deal with the work, which also includes running the client’s conference rooms and auditorium. Unit 24 has an AIM staff of 20, managing over 1,500 meetings a year, broken down as follows:

 

Training Programmes

350 courses per year

Business School

1000 specialist business and masters courses per year

Events and Conferences     

100 events per year, with 500-1000 participants

Annual Meetings
