Submitted abstracts will be selected as oral presentations or posters. All accepted abstracts
will be published in the Abstract Book as supplement of “International Angiology”, official
Journal of the International Union of Angiology.
Please note that for each accepted abstract the registration of one of the authors is required.
Abstracts will not be published unless registration documents and full payment fees will be settled.

Oral Communication Sessions
Oral communications will be selected among the abstracts submitted by participants. Oral
communication sessions will be scheduled during parallel sessions from June 25 to 28.
Abstracts must be presented in English. Time for presentation: 10 minutes including discussion.
All participants are invited to visit the Poster Display in the dedicated area in Pavilion 4.
Poster Display will take place from Sunday, June 25 to Tuesday, June 27.
The display will be combined with interpersonal communication with the authors during
lunch break (13.00 - 14.00) every day.
Maximum poster size must be cm 90 width x cm 150 height. The poster will be given a
number and should be hung in the poster labelled with the same number. Poster should be
displayed for the entire scheduled day. The official language for discussion will be English.
IUA and I.A.S.A.C.O. Prizes
The International Union of Angiology and the International Angiology Scientific Activities and
Congress Organization (I.A.S.A.C.O.) will provide prizes for the best oral presentations. Prizes
will be awarded to the six best ten-minute communications (3 IUA, 3 I.A.S.A.C.O.) according
to originality and standard of presentations. These communications will be discussed during the
dedicated sessions. The full papers will be considered for the publication on “International
Angiology”, official journal of the International Union of Angiology after peer review.
A Multimedia Slide Office will be located in the congress venue. Only
PC data projection will be available at the Meeting.
Files must be prepared in Power Point on floppy disk 1.44, CD Rom, USB
drive or laptop computers. Each room will be provided with a laptop computer
therefore the use of one’s laptop will not be allowed. The presentations
will be forwarded through Local Area Network (LAN) directly to the appropriate
